Personal Biography

I was born in Scarborough, Canada and enjoyed living in the snowy climate before my family moved to L.A. and then Florida. What made the sunshine state the most absurd to me was the total and complete lack of lovely snow in winter. I carried neither a Canadian accent, nor an obsession for hockey games over the border. I did, however, carry over a love of horses, and a thirst for stories.

As soon as I could lift a pencil I have been writing stories and drawing. I spent most of my time as a bookworm, digesting countless stories and then composing my own, for which I would compose complimentary pictures. The tendency to endlessly consume books, and write and draw nonstop carried through to my college years in which I currently reside.

I at first decided on a biology major in college and planned on becoming an equine veterinarian, but I soon realized that I could not let go of my love for writing. Now I am happily a creative writing major and I have hopes of publishing and in the future look forward to becoming one of the following: editor, creative writing professor, writing professor, or one of many more options.

In the future I look forward to improving my horsewoman skills, and I would love to work in therapy training for horses.
